Trent Lott, the quickly outgoing senior senator from Mississippi. In a year when many GOP rats are deserting the ship for political reasons, this one doesn’t hide his love of big lobbying bucks. This has commentators like Robert Novak crazy angry. But in this Piece in Politico it’s very clear that Lott’s real problem is that he’s a. . .well, you know.
